Dragon Well, also known as Longjing (龙井) in chinese, is a renowned Chinese green tea with a rich history dating back to the Tang Dynasty. Grown near Hangzhou's West Lake, its name originates from a well where a dragon allegedly dwelt, blessing the tea with mythical qualities. This tea gained imperial favor during the Qing Dynasty and became a tributary tea, gifted to emperors as a symbol of respect and honor.

Dragon Well is distinguished by its flattened leaf appearance, vibrant green color, and chestnut-like flavor profile with a refreshing aroma. Its production involves a meticulous hand-roasting process in woks to achieve its characteristic shape and taste, making it one of China's most prized teas globally.

Hangzhou's subtropical monsoon climate, characterized by distinct seasons, creates ideal growing conditions. The predominantly well-drained, slightly acidic loam soil is rich in organic matter and minerals, supporting healthy root systems and providing essential nutrients to the tea plants. This enhances our Dragon Well (Longjin) tea with its distinctive sweet, chestnut-like flavor and fresh aroma.
