Frequently Asked Questions
General
You can find Chafolio at farmers markets across Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and San Diego.
Each booth is a small corner of our tea world, where you can meet our team, explore different teas, and fall in love with the aroma.
We update our Market Schedule weekly so you can always check where we’ll be next.
Keep your tea in a cool, dry, and dark place, away from sunlight, heat, and strong odors.
All Chafolio pouches are resealable and compostable, designed to protect the leaves from moisture and preserve their natural aroma.
Each Chafolio bag makes around 60 cups of tea (10 fl oz), depending on your steeping style.
A cup of tea generally contains less caffeine than coffee.
Most Chafolio teas have 15–55 mg of caffeine per 10 oz cup, while a typical cup of coffee has around 90–120 mg.
Tea’s caffeine also interacts with L-theanine, a natural amino acid that helps the body absorb it more gently, giving you steady focus without the crash.
Dried tea leaves, like coffee beans or spices, do not spoil. However, we recommend consuming your tea within 18 months of opening for the best experience.
