We don't have a storefront yet, but you can find us at 12 different farmers' market locations across LA County. Visit our Farmers' Market page to find the nearest market to you. We'd love for you to stop by and say hi! It would be our pleasure to see you at the markets and offer you some selected samples.
To maintain quality, we recommend storing your tea in an airtight container away from light, heat, moisture, and strong odors (You may keep them in our packaging!). Ideal storage conditions include a cool, dark place like a pantry or cupboard, away from the stove or other heat sources. Avoid refrigeration as tea can absorb moisture and odors from other foods.
The number of servings you get from your tea depends on the size of the bag and the amount of tea you use per serving. For instance, our large bag weighing around 4 oz can make between 80 and 120 cups (8 fl oz each). We recommend using 1 tablespoon of tea per serving and re-steeping the tea leaves at least 3 times.
From a business perspective, using pesticides is not cost-effective due to their expense and the risk of food safety issues, nor is it environmentally friendly. Our tea fields have been around for decades and have a natural ecosystem that eliminates the need for pesticides. We only pick tea leaves from trees that are at least 5 years old; younger trees are susceptible to bud damage. Once a tea tree reaches 5 years of age, it is large enough for the bottom parts to be consumed by buds, allowing the top part to grow and flourish. Leaves from the top are harvested in early spring and processed to become our products.
In general, an 8 oz cup of coffee typically has 80 to 100 mg of caffeine, while an 8 oz cup of our teas has 10 to 60 mg.
Tea contains unique compounds not found in coffee, such as the amino acid L-theanine. L-theanine may amplify caffeine's positive effects while mitigating its negatives, potentially enhancing alertness and concentration, reducing anxiety, and preventing the dreaded caffeine crash. Additionally, tea contains three phytochemicals that stimulate the endocrine system, which may help boost metabolism and elevate mood.

Dried tea leaves, like coffee beans or spices, do not spoil. However, we recommend consuming your tea within 18 months of opening for the best experience.
